Death

Linda had come to HQ, not because she wanted to see her granddughter and have a coffee, but because i wanted to know what powers she had. I could remember the list well but it looked to me like she had shape shifting, which is something that was on the file.
She told me that there were no all encompassing powers that couldn't be beaten. They all had weaknesses. Her shape-shifting power was good though, she could make herself anything and anyone. (thats why i thought that illusions coudn't be seen through, i thought she used illusion rather than shifting) i was envious of this womans power but this was the first decent Tavara i'd met so i wasn't about to ruin my familial ties just yet.
"The file is a load of BS" she told me straight forward and without a hint of hesitation in her voice, i suddenly felt like a fool for being so protective of it. the file was just another object that helped with her plans, she was orchestrating everything. I'd gotten used to the fact that all Tavara's are calculating and want everything to be hard so that they can show off to those who have failed at what they had succeeded at. (if that makes sense). in short: if we had no powers, we'd be good at math.
"Can you help us? you know, find us recruits and stuff?" i asked, Linda knew many people, it seemed logical that she knew a few that had powers. (whom she didn't kill).
"i'll see what i can do" she answered mysteriously.
it was after she said that, that i read her mind, it was full of static, but i got one word: "Death". the way she thought it didn't suggest it was a 'someone's death' type "death" but a name. Death.
it was then that i realised what i was doing! 2 years ago you could ask me what i planned to do tonight and i'd say that i planned to hang out with Anne, Ali and my other friends! now i'll say: "i'm going to go and find answers" my life has become like a sci fi show!
Before i had time to ponder on who Death was, i was interupted by Jay. our new agent with the power of persuasion (see our techpower blog)
"what do we do if we're bored?" he asked me.
"i have a mission for you, Geoff, Stan and Elle"
"oooohhh! what is it?"
"find a person called Death" i told him. i was serious and he knew it, if i didn't show how serious i was then he would've told me one of the many jokes that were going through his head. Elle jumped out:
"we cant! he is the best serial killer in the world!" she looked scared.
"Take a bunch of guns" i suggested, but she looked at me like i had no idea what i was talking about, the truth was that i didn't.
"he can kill you from 20 metres away! he can kill you anyway he wants! break your neck, make your brain exploded or a heart attack!"
i could tell why he was the best serial killer in the world, he could make all his murders look like suicide or just a medical condition that couldn't be stopped. Death was a force to be reckoned with.
"i'll go with them" Linda said.
"thats a good idea, they'll need you" i thanked her and she, Elle, Stan, Jay, and Geoff disappeared.

It had been hours, Omni, Chan, Shifter, West, and Ali had left to help Tempest with his crusade to stop John. Tayla, Roxy, Charlie, Dave and i were left. While Roxy and Charlie dealt with customers, Tayla was learning 2 new languages: Japanese and Italian. She had almost finished reading the entire Japanese phrase book (which was her cousin Charlies before her death, by brain stealing) when Elle, Stan, Linda and Geoff charged through the door, each one was bloodied up badly. Elle collapsed to the ground with a broken leg and a bad head injury, Dave healed her. Stan had bad burns and couldn't breathe, Dave healed him too. Geoff had a few broken ribs, Dave healed him. Linda's arm was half torn off and half her ear was missing, Dave healed her. Jay however, was not with them.
"He was the first to go, Death had us all frozen there, it hurt so badly! Jay tried to persuade him to let us go but Death made his jaw lock!" Elle, paused and continued: "Linda got outta the hold and started to kill him, but Death twisted her arm around. it snapped, he kept on twisting it around, she couldn't help but stay down"
"then he killed Jay" Geoff concluded because Elle lost her breath and started to cry, she was taken to the basement for some rest.
"how'd you guys escape?" Tayla asked, handing some water to each of them.
"Elle was barely conscious but managed to get a clean shot, she knocked him out and we all ran for it"
"i can imagine that Elle was crying out in pain because of her leg" Dave said, more to himself than us, he looked sad. He has alot of sympathy for people in pain.
"yeah she was" Geoff answered.
"what'd he look like?" Roxy asked.
"dont know, i only know that he found us and the next thing we knew was that we were in an old house out in the Nevada desert. he blurred our sight"
"That means that we cant figure out where he is now, or who is was" Charlie whispered to Tayla, who nodded silently.
"you guys better get some rest" i suggested. Geoff went home to his wife of about... a year. Stan went back to his hotel room, Linda teleported to who knows where and Elle stayed the night.

It was a full on day, Geoff needed a new partner. Tayla immediatly put her hand up for it, but her power isn't of much use in the field...
Watch out for Death.

Answers

Lily-Anne was sure to be dead, even though her body disappeared she is still dead. One of Mia's minions must have taken it. I left as soon as we'd sent 2 newbies on a mission. I went to Miami to find Damian to see if there was any word on John's where-abouts yet, i did see him breifly but i lost interest as soon as i saw the hottest guy on the planet!
After a brief make-out session i returned to my affairs as a hunter for answers. ok that isn't me at all but i like the sound of it! i was following a drug dealer who could stop time, i realised that i could get the same results by superspeed and summoning but i still liked the power none the less. I had him at the beach and was about to "kill and take" while i was invisible when Damian walks up to him, i realised then that Damian could use that power for taking out John (something he is steadfast on doing). I left him to it, i killed a butcher who had metal mimicry, not for the power. i just found him annoying. it was then that a mysterious man teleported me to a warehouse in New Orleans, well i think it was a warehouse. it was in bad shape, like it would fall down any minute. he identified himself as the power taking guy!!!!! His real name (or rather her real name) was Linda Tavara.
"Hey Cleo" she walked up to me and changed out of her illusion. i cant see past illusions because i think it bends light or something.
"Hi" i could see that she and i were related, not just the names but our faces look similar, and our power!
"i'm your grandmother" She said, i thought as much but she was so... young!!!
"i used age reversal on myself so i would live longer" as if she read my thoughts, it then dawned on me that she was probably in her 60's so if she had been as young as me when she manifested her powers then she would have had about 40 years worth of power stealing, which could mean hundreds of powers! it was interesting that i suddenly felt the urge to kill her and take all her powers. i restrained because she was family.
"i know what you're thinking. Cleo you can go through that list of powers that i have but you'll never take them from me"
"why are there so many people like us?" i blurted out, i had been dying to know why there were so many like us.
"The core power we both have is hereditary, almost all of the family has it"
"except Mia" i said, there was another question that i was dying to ask her, but i was waiting until the write moment.
"yes well that is my fault. i wanted to make our family the most powerful, i had a friend who had early signs of empathic mimicry, i took it from her. killing her in the process. (i hadn't learnt to use it like you have.) i tested it on Mia, she was only 1 year younger than you, though she seems 2 years younger, she isn't as tall as you" she was trying to get off the subject, i steered her back to what was going on.
"Get on with it" I had summoned a chair and other things such as a table, TV and another chair for Linda. (dont ask me about the TV, i just figured that if the story were to get boring...)
"Well while your mother and father were out i was watching you and your sister. While you sat there playing with a few super hero toys i was with Mia, i had been practising on people with powers. i could safely remove powers without killing the person" she paused and took a deep breath, her face showed worry. she was worried as to what i'd think, i didn't need telepathy to know that. "I took her power, it hadn't manifested yet but it was still there and it was the same as yours. i transfered EM over to her, i had the most powerful Tavara right there. You ran in and began tell me that your mum and dad were home. i left and i thought that Howard and Jane would never know"
"But?" i was interested in the story now, i wondered about how all this had something to do with me.
"The next day your father came into my house and accused me of medalling with Mia's powers. he had apparently gained a statistics power that he used on Mia, showing that she had EM. i stole it from him and i teleported away"
"And then?" i asked with interest.
"Then i kept a close watch, he was favouring you over Mia, he couldn't figure out how to remove a power with killing someone, so he just let her be. But Mia started to show her powers, she had burnt Jane's hand. Jane wanted to know why her daughter had powers, Howard had told her that they were not hereditary. Jane packed up and left. Howard had alot of powers too, he took you to a family and gave you fake memories and the family (the Trellis') fake memories of you, he gave everyone in town fake memories, he gave you a whole new life"
"but why? wouldn't it make more sense for him to give up Mia?"
"i think he saw it the way i saw it, that Mia could be powerful. He did make her use aura absorption in front of him, but her empathy made each one of her powers natural, not aquirred." She paused and started to think, she was blocking her thoughts so i couldn't read them. then she continued: "i had been watching you carefully, when i went into that store i was carrying out a plan"
"a plan?"
"yes, a plan. to give you more powers and for Howard's powers to be vulnerable. because when you transfer powers it makes your other powers so vulnerable that you dont even feel it when they're being taken. i stole a few and begun to set in motion my plans for bringing Sage, Omni, Shifter, Chan and soon you. together. To make Techpower Co."
"But they wanted to tell everyone about us!"
"Not when i was done with them, i put a thought into their heads to make them want to make a company like the one you have now"
"So this was all you!!!!!!!" i was surprised that she could be so damn calculating to do this, i was angry that she orchestrated most of my life, and yet happy that she had. While all this was running through my mind, she smiled, she was probably reading my mind.

I went back to HQ with Linda, i felt like a sheep compared to her tanned skin, but it didn't matter. She left when we got to the door, i thanked her then i remembered the burning question i wanted to ask her:
"Is Lily-Anne related to me?"
"She was Mia's follower, Mia had reality warping, Lily-Anne was probably not related to you" and with that she teleported away.
i walked in, i suddenly thought of all the things she had told me. i wondered if i would've been like Mia and Howard if things were different, i suddenly felt sad that i hadn't grown up with my family, i knew that my mother was still out there, but she seemed very scared of people like me, so i decided that finding her would be put on hold. I walked through the narrow hallway, suddenly sad, i was greeted by the newbies Geoff and Jay. I kept walking after saying 'hello' to them. I had alot to think about.

Enemies Remain

Sage loves his new power, to honest i'm jealous, i know i felt sorry for him but i'm not even sure why i let him have empathic mimicry, he's too powerful. Sage WAS too powerful.

It had been a normal day, we had a few clients who thought that we were real financial consultants, shrinks and lawyers but it was still normal. i think it was when i used my stats power to figure out what powers Sage had that i saw something wasn't right. He was walking and talking with his powers putting the temperature up and down with just a thought, i was getting annoyed. i used my stats power to see what powers he had, then i saw it. He hadn't taken EM from Mia, he'd taken Reality Warping!
I approached him carefully when i called him down to the storage shed, he looked rather confused and scared.
'oh my god she knows!' he thought.
"Yeah, Sage, i know" i shot him with black electricity so i could weaken his power, he was cornered. Well almost. he had reality warping after all, he TKed me into the steal wall, it left a dent. i put alot of power into summoning a flamethrower and using a mixture of powers, i think i used a bit of all my powers. he lost his power, but i didn't take it. i was able to black lightning it away so that it wouldn't work for a VERY long time. there he was still alive. powerless. but there was a downside: we got a visit.
Shifterx, Phaser and Mia might be dead. But there were a lot of people on Mia's team who are still loyal to her (like they had a choice). a girl of about 16, had walked in. She had blood lust in her eyes, she wasn't one of the people being controlled, it seemed as though she was like Mia's apprentice! she killed Sage with a wave of her hand, he had been sliced across the chest with a strong version of TK. She had the same power as me.
"You are not gonna have fun when you take on me" she opened a black hole that begun sucking me in. i grabbed hold of an iron bar, she walked over to me. Her name was Lily-Anne Dago. i can see why she's evil, with a name like that i'd try to blow up the Eiffel tower.
"you might be Auriss now, but its like a title if you think about it. when you let go i can be Auriss, and i can kill everyone, make everyone do as i say," she paused to loosen one of my fingers off the bar. "i can even play god" she whispered. the finger she had loosened shot black lightning at her. the hole closed and i was on my feet, she had regained control of her powers quickly. she used aerokinesis to take all the air out of the shed, i couldn't breathe. i almost fainted when space manipulation happened of its own accord again, my hand had punched through her and the air returned.
i walked back inside with bad bruises on my arms because things kept hitting me while they were being sucked into the hole, thats when Tayla asked me about the file. it was gone! i dont know if it was the black hole or the flamthrower but it was gone! the whole point that i got that file was so i could have the best powers and in the end AH still won! Mia had Aerokinesis and Shapeshifting on her side, she had reality warping and other really strong powers too! i failed.

i told my friends all about Sage, and what happened to him. Omni had had the same dream as Precog, that i was being tortured by Mia and Jorge. well i dont think its gonna be MIA and Jorge i think its gonna be the remainders of Mia's followers (pretending to be her). this is far from over.
"What are we supposed to do?" Elle asked what we were all thinking.
"We keep going, Sage might have betrayed us and taken a power that he knew was very corruptive and dangerous. but we have to move forward" i answered.
"but what about the dream?" Omni asked me, she was scared about what the future held for all of us. For a second i imagined what it would be like if i could see the future, i would do anything to make sure that what i saw in my dreams were good things.
"We'll cross that bridge when we come to it" i answered.
That was the end of the discussion.

Confusing

The Techpower Co. blog and my blog are not good at being in sync, so from now on i'm assigning someone who doesn't work with me that often to write on it. That way you wont have to jump back and forth between the 2 blogs.

The end of Amelia Tavara

When i got back to HQ Chan was being sedated, luckily Sage had spotted that he was acting weird, and his bronxe eyes. i walked into the shed out back, which was where we kept him, he tripped me and threw a bike at me, i TKed it back and knocked him out it. it was just when i did that when Mia, Shifterx and Phaser came in. Phaser came through a wall, Shifterx came through the air vent (as a cockroach) and Mia just appeared. i summoned Sage, Elle, and Shifter (who our medic healed, his name is Dave, he's 32).

Elle went after the phaser, he went down a dark alley way, Elle shot at him but it went through him. she kept chasing him, which brought her into a shop across the street, i got this off a security camera, that had been knocked off the wall (miraculasly it still worked).
Shifter had to finish what she started with Shifterx, she made herself a cheetah and Shifterx copied, it had become like watching the discovery channel.
Mia took both me and Sage to the old gravel tower in Texas. which was now close to ruins. I told Sage that this was his chance to hold more than just one power, he could copy Mia's EM, i told him to stay there though.. i used metal mimicry to make my arms swords. i filled them both with black, blue and red lightning. i charged at her at full speed, leaving a trail of fire behind me. i TKed her against a rock, i nullified her powers and stabbed the swords through her arms. I summoned Sage up, i knew he couldn't run fast enough to her before she died. She was crying out in pain because of the electricity, he touched her and copied her EM. i also snatched up her resurection power, but i let reality warping die with her.
We sped back to HQ, where the fights were raging on, Ali said that she read that black lightning can make powers go away temporarily, i didn't know which Cheetah to hit it with though. I tried to use the stats power but it couldn't figure it out! i couldn't read their minds, so i just picked one, hoping for the best i shot it with black lightning, it turned back into Shifterx! Lucky!!!!!! i read there mind just to make sure it was really them, it was. Shifterx though powerless was not helpless. He'd been knocked out for a long time, but Chan had come to, still under Mia's command despite the fact that she was dead, he was able to dodge my bolts of lightning with ease, but he could'nt dodge my TK. i tried to stop Mia's command but it was like it was wired into his mind, with no indication that it would short circuit, i only had one choice: Kill him. i took his power and broke his neck with TK. Shifter had taken care of the now powerless Shifterx, both were dead. on the floor of our storage shed. But since the command died with him, and commands cant be brought back. I ressurected Chan, he was powerless, and couldn't copy any new skills but he still had the old ones!

Elle was still Chasing the Phaser, this is her recap:
I had him, i had caught him off guard and managed to electrocute him to the ground. he twisted his ankle and couldn't phase through the fence, he was cornered in a garden. i approached him holding electricity in both hands, i knocked him out and dragged him back to HQ, i got a few weird looks while i was doing that but i explained it away.
Cleo killed the Phaser while he was unconscious. she sent West, and Charlie to drop the bodies of Shifterx, and the Phaser in river.
And thats what happened today.

I am Auriss

i had never been good at being nice, so when the opportunity aried for me to finally take on Mia in a real fight, i knew i had to pull out all the stops and destroy her once and for all. Thats why i had'nt posted for a couple of days,

we've been flat out with customers.

the fact that EM was Mia and that Jorge and 2 other people joined her came as surprise.
I had gotten a text message saying that i had to go to old building where LA high once was.
i knew it wasn't wise to go alone, i brought ALL my team.



we were waiting with anxiety when Jorge came through a nearby window, what followed was 3 others, one had climbed up using metal mimicry, they had jammed the metal spikes on their hands into the weak walls, they flipped in like they were eager to show they could actually do a flip. another (a boy of about 15)had phased through the floors above and another shifted from her original state: a locker. i knew that we had them out numbered but, Jorge cant be beaten. i told Sage that telepathicly, but he only suggested one thing: "The Haitian". he told me of a guy who could null powers, he worked for the company and Sage had also met him when he saved his life from a man named Sylar.


I summoned The Haitian. i told him to null Jorges powers, he could probably sense the urgency in my voice. He did what i told.


Shifter launched a a bear claw at the other Shifter (which i will just call Shifterx). but Shifterx retalited by turning into a huge diamond, the power of the claw coupled with the hardest substance on earth meant that Shifter had broken her hand. Elle shot electricity at the now human Shifterx, but shifter simply dodged it and came charging at her as a cheetah. Stan shot at the Cheetah to try and protect his partner, but instead Shifterx lunged at him, while Mia had a forcefield around her, Stan didn't stand a chance. But West and Charlie didn't know that, they both flew over and kicked the Cheetahs FF, Shifterxwent flying across the room. She went out the window, i saw a bird fly off but i'm not sure if thats was her. with all that stuff i forgot that i was supossed to be fighting! The Haitian couldn't hold jorge much longer, Mia was taking on everyone and the phaser had taken his toll on Ali, she couldn't shoot him cos she was too afraid that it would go through him and hit someone else. i sprung into action and just TKed Jorge out the window in time.


Mia, the phaser and the metal head her were left, well at least i thought that! Shifterx had come back and wanted to kill Shifter, i i TKed her to the wall and took her power (and life), only to lose it when Mia comes behind me! Elle had tried to knock her out, Charlie and West tried to stop her but when she gets going its hard to stop her! i immediatly though i just knew that we had to end this i told them all to run. Shifter was carried out by West and Ali was carried put by Charlie, Omni, Chan and everyone left. it was just me and Mia. she reality warped me to a sandy desert, i only did one thing: "I am Auriss" and sped around her at full speed, creating a sandstorm, i filled it with electricity, fire and surrounded it with a FF so she couldn't escape, sped in and punched through her chest, she died right there and then, i went back to HQ.

I got back and they all asked what happened i just said: "it was a real blow up"

Dead or Alive?

I often compare my life to many things i've seen on TV, but today i thought about life in a different way. Like i was in a game of strategy, like Starcraft, or Chess. In both the goal is to win, and we try and think 2 steps ahead of our oppnents, only using special abilities such as invisibility and taking out the queen when we think its essential. Thinking of life like a game isn't always a good way to think, but when you've got as many powers as i have and even more crafty ways to use them, than it doesn't really matter how you think. You always win.

Jorge had reality warping, that much is true. So i can never be 100% sure if hes dead or not, all i know is that he wont underestimate me and my team, so i should be safe.
Charlie was still talking about his encounter with West the flying boy, i wanted to take that kids power at some stage but with my TK getting so good, i dont really need it anymore.
Stan had gotten a text message from someone called "EM". I don't know what her power is and i dont know her connection to us, so dont ask. She said something about how "death isn't the end" or something. That was probably refering to Jorge, his power is too dangerous, its a wonder he hasn't killed me yet! Maybe i'm more useful to him alive...
EM had connections, there was no doubt about that. I tried to summon Jorge, to see if he knew anything but (like the file) he wouldn't allow it to be that easy, that or he is actaully dead.
"The best way to control a situation is by having the right controler", i was never clear on what that meant, but i think it means that i need the right people to control this situation. i needed all the "players" i could find, West included. I summoned him. I dont know what John did to him but it took alot of concentration to snap him out of it, thanks Playwrite for weakening the command.
"What the hell is going on?!" he was shocked, he tried to fly away but i TKed him to the spot.
"I need your help" i tried to look as desperate as i could but the reality was that he would help me whether he liked it or not.
"Why would i help you?" he asked angrily, "after you tried to kill me!" I had no idea that he knew i was the same person who tried to kill him.
"How'd you know that was me?" I really was curious. He held up his cell phone revealing a text he got from EM saying: "they're the same person"
WHO THE HELL IS THIS PERSON!!!!!!!? i didn't know how to react to this new addition to the "texting/annoying Cleo" group, so i just TKed his phone out the window, it hit somone, needless to say, whoever got hit by that phone now has a preeety good phone!
"Do you want to stop the government?"
"yeah. who doesn't?"
"Join us"
I had won him over, he was reluctant if course, and he said that he would leave as soon as the government were gone. He needed a partner. we'd had customers coming in the last few days. Chan and Shifter had evaluated who would be suitable for the job, we called one in.
"Whats this about?" a woman about my age asked, she was beautiful but she was also smart. she could be a planner for missions. There was a down side: she had a power. But i decided that she and West can be our trial team that has 2 specials.
"Miss Bishop, we want to offer you a job" i said to her calmly.
"Why?" she asked, confused. All she ever came to us for advice on money, apparently she used to have alot of it but after her dad died she had no clue on how to handle finances.
"We own a company that specialises in people, like YOU" she was shocked. She leaped out of her chair and shot electricity at me, i used a forcefield to stop it.
"No! i'm not going to do it again!" she explained to me, Chan, Shifter, Omni and Sage about these places called Pinehearst and Primatech, how they ruined peoples lives.
"We have different views to them" Sage assured her.
"thats what Arthur said! it all ends up the same!" Elle told us about a man called Sylar (this guy sounds like a real creep), and the company founders. not very good subjects, if we ended up like that then i would consider faking my death and opening up an anti-primatech too!
"But we do!" Chan and Omni said in unison.
i knew that she knew alot more about the companies than she wished to say, for her sake i stayed out of her head.Then i noticed that her aura was different to other specials, like it had been dead, then it was alive again, like someone healed it. despite what you may think, when you die and come back to life your aura is never restored because its meant to be dead. hers was partially restored. i asked her if she had died and come back to life.
she had that look of 'how did you know?' on her face, "yeah, i was teleported by some japanese guy, with Sylar. he started to cut open my head, after that was a blur. all i saw was some girl a little younger than me fly off, i could smell smoke. i guess i came to the conclusion that through some miracle Claire had healed me and flew off with West" I proceeded to ask who Claire is, Elle only said that she and her were like a hate eachother with a passion/mutual respect when they dont try and kill eachother and something about how Claire couldn't die, (which meant that Elles attempts at killing her were probably unsuccesful). Those two are kinda like Mia and i if you think about it. Then i thought of it! Mia healed her! she had healing on her "list" from when i was going over her stats and she could probably restore an aura, because she had the power to take them! why not the power to give them back? thankyou Mia! Elle seems competant enough to be an agent. she had also had training for the occupation.
West and her were a no go though! upon being in the same room together i had to null their powers so they didn't kill eachother! dont know whats going on there. I just asked them why they hated eachother, West could find a pretty pathetic reason: tried to capture Claire, maybe kill her. The girl cant die! Elle just said that he got in her way. Since i'm a prize negotiater they were partners with only a little hatred towards eachother in no time at all. I dont know what i said, but i rarely do when it comes to this stuff, people just listen to me.

After today, with EM warning us about things that she cant possibly know anything about or even be connected to. She must have an ability, but what is it?
After seeing that someone can come back from the dead, aura and all i wonder if anything is ever actually dead. or if you want the darker look on it: is anyone ever really alive? geez! look at what i'm sounding like! though i could've assigned Elle or West to be Stans partner i'm having fun being a field agent, but as soon as we get a normal person on board, i'll go back to being office ridden. Theres still tension and dislike between Elle and West.

Reality Check

Upon reading about John and Jorge on Damians blog i knew i had to act fast. I told Shifter, Sage, Chan, and Omni. Omni said that she had a dream that i was lying on the ground dead, she begged me to just go along with Jorge and Johns plan but the kind of power that those two have should'nt be allowed in this world!
Reality warping is one of the strongest powers ever, it probably would be in the file, but Jorge seems crafty, he could've 'deleted' it from the the file. Illusion and telepathy are the only powers that give me at least a bit of leverage. I sent Jorge and Stan on a mission to find a special, there wasn't actually a special, it was a trick. I could hear them leaving, that was the power i had taken, not Johns persuasion, but superhearing. It was 100 times louder then it should've been. The trainyard was a perfect place to take out Jorge, so i technopathed him a text message to go there.

Stan was informed of the plan, he had his gun at the ready when he pretended to check a building, he actually ran up the stairs to the 7th floor and was watching the event unfold from the window.
I hid inside a traincar, watching him. I created an illusion of John, Jorge would listen to him. He told him to warp reality so that Amelia was alive. i used telepathy to make him do it. Amelia was alive and kicking, she wondered what was going on. I told her with a telepathic message. She was reluctent, but she did help. From what Howard had told me, Amelia turned out to an empath who only used aura taking when Howard was around. This empath stuff meant that she should have reality warping.
Jorge asked my illusion of John why he had to bring Amelia back.
"Because, how else can we have the upper hand?" 'John' dissapeared, Jorge was bewildered, and confused as to what was taking place.
Amelia warped reality so that were in a crowded place, of course she included me in the reality, i hid in dumpster. Jorge couldn't use any powers that could make the public know of specials, the only way to combat her was telepathically. The stats power i had showed that Mia was good at telepathy, which brought me to phase 2 of my plan. When you use telepathy your mind is very vulnerable, especially your hearing. i created a series of loud bangs that only Jorge could hear. He tried to reality warp them away, but he didn't know how he could, he didn't know what to get rid of. Amelia warped us back to the trainyard, Jorge was still recovering from the noise, i electricuted him. I nodded to Stan to pull the trigger on him, Stan is pretty good at aiming! he shot him right in the head!
'"What do we do now?" Stan asked, exitedly. He really liked being an agent.
"We kill Cleo of course" Mia , answered. there was a sense of 'i really mean it' in her voice. She TKed me into a train car, i phased through and left a clone there. instead she killed a well crafted clone. I killed her swiftly by freezing her like last time. I thought i'd killed her, but she had reality warping! she flew off. I knew it would be impossible to catch her. She is an empath who just really wants to get back at me, she's not truly evil, i wouldn't worry about what she can do with RW. The point is the Jorge is finally dead. As all that was going through my mind i tuned back in-
"what can we do about Amelia?" Stan asked, his exited agent look was no longer showing. he was dead serious.
"She wont do anything, shes an empath. If she does anything with that power it'll be making things better" i answered.
"Whos gonna be my partner now?" since i was bored just sitting in my office all day i told him: "I will." Ali and Charlie, her partner arrived, asking if everything went smoothly. and well nothing happened after that.

The Refugee

2 posts in one day, well this happened just after i posted last time:
As you may have read on Damien West's blog, he is staying in LA with me and my friends. Yes i am helping someone, but its for a good/bad reason, i'm helping him kill someone. John, you know the evil guy with persuasion? Well anyways, when Damien came through the door i was eating some potato chips, which i kept eating while he was telling me about powers and how much he was gonna throttle John. He asked me to locate him, easier said than done. The guy control anyone, i needed to tread carefully. Telepathy is a handy power, superspeed+Telepthy+ enhanced vision= Finding John. I knew that John would probably reside somewhere there were alot of people to control, which meant NY, he could make anyone do anything, he couldn't be blamed if they hung themselves or robbed a store. It was new york!
My leg and my arm were feeling much better so i knew i would be able to combat him as long as he didn't spot me. I had breifly met John so i knew who to look for. I was invisible and hovering just over the empire state building when i saw him buying an ice cream and not paying for it. i swooped down, and nulled his power as i went, i swooped him up easily. Somehow he persuaded me stop using TK, which meant that i went into a pretty fast decent. lucky i have telepathy and could put a stop to that! we remained on course, he was being difficult. I took his ability, and threatened to drop him into a lake we were passing over. That shut him up.
we landed on the doorstep of HQ, he tried to run now that his feet were firmly on the ground, i TKed him back. i took him inside to Damien. Damien took him to an old shed out the back that i stashed the file of all the best powers. I don't know what went on down there, but i could tell that Damien was happy with himself when he walked in my office.
"Thanks for locating him" he said happily. "You can take my powers now" he had longing in his eyes but i could tell that only one power needed to be gone.
"keep psychokinesis, i'll take inituitive aptitude" i told him. He warned me about it, "i can handle it, plus i don't have a hunger for power, i'm more the have fun with power type."
I removed his inituitive apt and saw that my watch was broken, i opened it and fixed it quickly, IA is the power to understand, i can use that!
Damien is staying for a while longer, so Stan now has a partner! i like this company, it brings people together. I'm smart enough to know that running a business is hard, but i took a business class back in high school, i failed but i still took it!

Powerful Dreams

Just before i start this post i though i should say that my name is still Elle Mode, but this time i'm more "hot receptionist" than "supermodel", that's enough change so that the government wont recognise me, right?

In a world like this you start to wonder if its all just a fantasy you're living out because you fell asleep during english class again. But i had a rather weird dream last night, it felt so real but it wasn't. Thats a good thing.

Sage, Omni and Chan were staying in my apartment (thats not the dream) and Shifter was guarding Techpower HQ (but thats not the dream). i was dreaming my normal dream: that i went to a high school that was as chaotic as St Trinians. When i was in the middle of kissing a cute guy i snuck into the school i disappeared. I was standing there and i could see Howard murdering a girl that i recognised: Ali. it was one of those dreams where you couldn't talk and couldn't move. It was horrible, he was using TK to slit her arms and head. The blood spattered on my clothes. I woke up, to see the blood on my clothes, i ran to the mirror, but it wasn't showing on the mirror, i didn't want to wake up the others, i silently freaked out. I kept checking the mirror and trying to make myself see the blood, i wiped my hand on my shirt only to see that the blood wasn't really there, it was fake. Howard stepped out from the shadows and said: "i'm warning you" and he and the blood disappeared.

i limped to the couch and pondered what to do, the dream replayed over and over in my mind.

I fell into a light and tortered sleep.

I woke up early the next morning and sped to NY, and got into Ali's room to wake her up, we sped to LA.

i explained to her what was going on, and why i had to get her. She believed me, well she and i might not be blood related but shes still my sister, so of course she believed me. i showed her Techpower, which we all decided would be a company that consults people in finance, legal and personal problems. It was a great way to get recruits and for me to find EHs (to recruit! not kill!, well maybe if their powers are good...) We had bought filing cabnets which we put the helix on, and we also have the symbol in our sign and we have it as our logo:

The eye in the middle is meant as our unique vision, Omni's dreams, my enhanced sight and our own views on the world. The symbol looks good huh? "You have the power, use it" we put a sly reference to our powers in there, we also figured that we can motivate people, or whatever, that was Omni's idea, she's really "deep" and "meaningful" all the time.

Anyways we all have necklaces with the symbols on them, and we now had Ali on our team.

Ali is dim-witted, but she can invent anything, we paired her with Stan, just until we can find another recruit who has powers. "One of us one of them" Sage always says, apparently he'd heard that term when his dad worked at a place called Primatech Paper, he says he always pretended that he that place was actually a secret spy organisation. thats what gave him the idea for Techpower Co. Stan was very good at firearms, and was also very persuasive, 2 good things in an agent.

i went out to find specials with Ali, which brought us to a train yard. We had followed a man who could fly. We made it to the train car we saw him enter, only to see Howard had knocked him out. He hadn't taken his power, he had just knocked him out.

"I warned you" he said. He tried TK me against against a wall, but i used TK to stop myself from hitting. He used that paralysis power that i hate. I was standing there watching him kill my sister, i couldn't stand it electrcity started to flow throuh my arms, i couldn't help it, i could feel the ground shaking, i TKed cement out of the ground and bashed Howard over the head with it.

i told Ali to run, she refused to leave, she grabbed a gun out of her jacket and began frantically shooting at Howard, he melted the gun and threw Ali into a train car and locked the door, the electricity that had been building up in my arms saw Howard be blown away. I walked over to him.

"i would take your powers, but why would i want anything owned by you?" i slit his throat using TK. and unlocked the train car door. Ali walked out with a few bruises but she was ok. The special we had come for was awake, we asked him if he wanted to help us create a company that would one day become heroes to all specials, he agreed. Ali had a partner and Howard was dead.

Since Howard had already died in this city, i summoned a can of kerosene and tipped it over his body, i ignited it with electricity. Ali caught a ride with her flying man, and i sped back to HQ. now i'm writing this.

Company People

i seemed to have calmed down after Sage (isn't "Sage" a herb or something?) and Co. tracked me down and proposed an idea for a company that was run by EH's for BOTH evolved humans's and normal humans. They seemed to have taken on what i said about not telling people about what we can do, they wanted to create a company that could help, but did things that were "questionable" (by that they mean good and bad factors are mixed and matched.)
I kinda like the idea, but how do we open up a organisation like that? They told me that Chan and Omni had gotten alot of money off the stock market and by betting on horse races, they had a good amount of money to start a small business that could grow into a global corporation. I agreed, its not like i cant get out of it.

An old building was for sale, it was a real piece of junk but we could fix it up, we bought it. because it was so damn cheap and the owner wanted it gone ASAP we didn't have to wait too long to get full ownership of the dump.
We had a place and Chan was able to get into the roof to get rid of the spiders. I used phasing and TK to get a few supplies up there (electrical things, weaponry i summoned from... wherever, etc.) I summoned up A LOT of money, each of us went out and bought things to go in "The Dump" as we called it.
Sage bought state of the art computers for each of us, Chan bought each of us business cards. He also got a big whiteboard and bought security cameras.
Meanwhile, Shifter was busy buying a coffee machine and a few TVs for us to keep track of the world (and watch our fave shows.) Omni was a practical person so she bought things like microwaves, lightbulbs and other basic needs.
Those were all things i could've summoned up, but i needed the time to speed off to New York, NY to visit Ali, i had stopped for a bite to eat when who should bump into but Steve! Or Stu? He politley says : "Hello" I took a wild guess and said: "Hi, Steve" he looked like he was confused.
"Oh, sorry. Stu" I say. But i didn't quite have the name yet.
"Its, Stan. Thanks for remembering the first 2 letters of my name" i laughed.
I started to flame up my hand so that he would run off and get outta my hair, (i was in a rush) when the government comes blowing through! i could tell that Steve would be caught because he was talking to me, i couldn't let an innocent person get captured, i grabbed his arm, but just before i was about to speed off i got shot in the leg! i had never had to really fight my way out of a government attack before. I used electricity to stun a few while a few others were fried. That only one left was Rachel Mills, she wasn't hesitent to teleport away before i could zap her.

I turned invisible and flew both me and Stan back to HQ, Stan could be our first agent!!!
He and i got back to see that the dump was fixed up nicely, i explained to Stan about what was going on, he asked if we were spies, Chan liked the idea and said that he is. We had just finished setting up all our computer gizmo's when there was a knock on the door. Howard. I Tked him outside on to the street, we both made ourselves invisible and picked up where we left off in Texas.
He was far superior, and i hadn't had any time to locate any Tavara's that could help. He had me against a wall, he was slowly choking me, like Darth Vader. I used metal mimicry to make my hand a sword, i filled it with electricity, the electric bolts were flowing through it like a lightsaber. I used my free hand to shoot flames, he wasn't expecting it and he dropped me. My leg was still hurting so you can imagine what being dropped 4 feet off the ground can do.
I could barely move, the pain was so intense. I stayed invisible. Sage, Chan, Shifter and Omni were out in a flash, Sage must've mimicked my supersight at some point, he could see Howard. Chan couldn't see him, but you can tell that he was ready to take him out as soon as he did. Shifter saw that most people were occupied by my blood slowly trickling down the street. Shifter turned into an Eagle, and began to fly high in the sky waiting to swoop down at Howard as soon as he was visible. Omni, used her talent for seeing the unseen. and knew that it was about to rain. It poured down and the people who were interested at looking at my blood ran to their cars, and into nearby stores. i could see that Howard was walking toward me, Omni too could see him because of the rain on him. she told Chan where he was, and instantly he was using every move he knew to fight Howard. Howard laughed at Chan like he was a puppy trying to be hunter and Tked him to the ground, he cried out in pain as i saw his ankle was either broken or fractured, either way he couldn't get up. Omni was good at throwing things and started ditching anything she could at Howard, he looked slightly annoyed, i knew that Shifter was about to come down and swoop him,. She was right on que and i used CK, to freeze the water on Howard just after she had distracted him. He was frozen there, shifter landed and turned back into a person. She helped me up, so i could finish the job, i was about to do so when Howard exploded out of the ice. Angry as hell, too. he TKed Omni and Shifter away and headed towards me. He held me up and began twisting my arm, yelling at me to tell him where i hid the file. i forced myself to think about something else, so all he got was "take me on the floor" by The Veronicas. He was about to TK my head off. I raised my hand and begun feebly trying to to stab him with my electric sword (which was electrictuing me at that point).
He sniggered and said: "what are you gonna do with that? Stab me?" i nodded, trying to look confident. he laughed, "do you think you can do your trick before i can do mine?" i hadn't any strength left, my sword turned back into a hand he was about to take off my head, when shots rang out. The next thing i saw was Howard lying on the ground with 2 bullets in his chest. He was dead. I looked up to see Stan kneeling next to me, saying: "found your gun supply" i smiled and passed out, just before i passed out i saw Sage was on the ground being tended to by Omni and Shifter, he must've pissed off Howard, just before "Mr. Auran" died

Now i'm sitting in bed with a bandaged arm, and an aching leg. I couldn't believe that the guy i wanted to stop talking to, ended up being the guy who saved my life. I'm watching the news report on Howards death, i couldn't believe he was dead. I still had my doubts about whether he actually was, but if he isn't dead i think he'll think twice before messing with TechPower Co. again!

Enemies and Allies

I'm writing this through technopathy, in a lush hotel room, but theres still a sense of uncertainty.
I was at work and Howard walked up to the counter asking me if i got the message, i couldn't care less about WHO was watching, i TKed him to the wall and began taking his aura, but then out of nowhere he used that weird space manipulation that i have to punch me out! i woke up in a familiar place: Texas. I was at that old gravel tower that idiotic girl jump off while some guy was taping her.
Howard told me that i was always the good daughter, and he never should've left me. He was telling the truth but i didn't care, i wanted to kill him but i couldn't move, i was at the top of the gravel tower and i was imobilised He told me of his disgust that Amelia turned out to be an empath, and i told him of my disgust that he is so evil. He glared at me and suddenly i could move, he told me to stand up, i did it before i knew it. He then told me: "Fight to the death" i obeyed, i couldn't help it, i obeyed!
He teleported around and he told me to catch him as if it were game, i shot fire at him but he was always gone before it got to him then i remembered that certain things are used for battles, i ran through a list in my mind of elements that can help, i needed something highly reactive, hydrogen! i summoned up 2 tanks of hydrogen and placed each i one somewhere around the tower i then used TK to open the tanks and out came the Hydrogen, i used enhanced vision and held my breath, i could see the hydrogen and once it had spread, i fired up, BOOM!!!!!!
i dont know where Howard was but i think i heard him scream i sped faster than i ever had before, then i saw red and when i stopped i saw the tower from a distance, it was just before it had exploded, then bang! and i saw a blurry figure speeding through and then they dissapeared, i... i think i might have travelled back in time! but how? Special relativity? i continued to run back to NY but when i got there i saw the government were watching it, i sped somewhere else, somewhere safe. I sped to Beverly Hills! it was semi safe and i guess i wanted to shop for new clothes. i had stopped in an alley way to catch my breath when 4 people approached me, each one with code names, the guy who looked about 19 (who had a power) called himself "Sage" who could repilcate peoples powers, the girl on his left (Shifter) looked about the same age, they all looked around the same age. she could turn into animals, like an animorph except her power was situation based, whichever animal could help the situation she turned into it out of instinct, the boy on Sage's right was called Chan, he could mimic things like martial arts, and the last one (a girl who could stare daggers at you without a reason) called herself Omni, she could dream the future and the past. That last one sounds like a good power but i've since got through that phase of wanting to know what happens next. They told me that they were like a mob of people trying to make the world know who the EH's are, i declined, i didn't want to have that much attention, they began to push i told them no, they still wouldn't listen to me i TK'ed them on to one of the roofs above me and sped off, Sage was the only one who attempted to catch up, i had his number (in case i changed my mind) i sped off and telepathed my way into a lush hotel room, i'm living it up but i think that someone's watching me, thats why i'm using technopathy to post, i dont want them to see the blog.

Tempest, you should totally come down here! you can help me get better at my powers, bring your friends, i wont kill them dont worry, i'm considering joining up with you is all.

Family isn't perfect...

Powers cause problems, they get to into peoples heads so easily, even the nicest of people can turn into monsters because they feel like they have nothing to prove. Howard Tavara is one such person. I had taken a small detour off of my road of killing people to find Howard, or as his provocative letter calls him: Mr. Auran. Heres what went down-

I had just snuck out the fire escape after a night with... some guy, Steve? Stu? anyway i went to work while i was still eating my egg mc muffin and saw Howard buying a newspaper, i used illusion to disguise myself as a realter and walked after him, i asked him about whether he wanted to buy a house and everything else a realter does. Then i used Metal mimicry to stab him in the back (literally.) Too bad that he saw it coming! i totally forgot that he's multi powered! he must've had some way of telling whether or not i was lying! he started to use water mimicry and his watery self splashed into the sewer, there was no way that i'd follow him in water form! so i stood on top of the drain, turned invisible and phased through. Just before i hit the filthiness that is the sewers, i used CK to freeze the water and then used TK to hover over it in search for any sign of Howard, i found him and saw that he was very much alive.
He begun using PK to unfreeze the water, i used metal mimicry to make one arm turn into a sword, the other a small shield and summoned a gun that i could hold and use by TK. he was clearly impressed by my creativity, but i was impressed that he could blow apart the sewer. i used a forcefield to stop the blast, it was small enough to take apart the tunnel and that was it.
i turned the FF off and floated up onto the street (invisible.) i couldn't see Howard anywhere, i went to work and put a fake memory in their mind that i had called to tell them i'd be late.

The day was normal for a while, then i went out to a diner to have dinner with my sister, who had told her mother that she was at the mall, a perfect cover since she's always at the mall.
We were eating and i told her about AH and she told me about the newest clothes from Calvin Klein, Ralph Loren, (i hav'nt spelt that name in a while, is that correct?)and a few more. It was like old times! but a hostage situation that lasted for 1 minute maybe 2 came and ruined the fun.
Howard came in and with a gun that he didn't look comfortable using, and told me that i had to die so he could have it all, i sniggered and threw a plate at him with TK. i held him there using TK and told him to stop bothering me, he shot metel at the arm holding him. i could see blood, i used TK, PK, CK and electricity like i'd never used them before, i threw Howard across the diner and froze his hands, then i used PK to burn his face and i used electricity to finish him of, but the problem was that he had escaped a while ago and left a clone that had obviously had alot of effort put into it, as it didn't disappear.
The police arrived and Ali and i were gone in flash! i dropped her off home and i went back to my apartment. Then on the floor, to my horror i saw it. A note. "Catch Me if you can, Mr. Auran"

I didn't sleep, i couldn't. I just layed there and thought about how i could possibly take on Howard when i didn't have enough experience. Then it hit me: Tavara. If the power to take aura's runs in my family, then i must have a grandfather or grandmother that can help, and Howard wont know how i got so good. He severed his ties years ago...

Power Play

I'm not good at math, or science, and i'm definatly not good at history, but since my powers require some level of brain power, i've taken a job at a library. I'm Elle Mode and i sell books, that works right? I find libraries boring so i spiced it up, harmless really just a few tricks on school kids. they're idiots! they actually thought that Brad and Angelina would walk into a library without being noticed by the public! Then my fun was cut short. very short. Heres what happened-

My family must've moved to NY at some point, and i guess my mums love of books saw Ali (my sister) and Brad (my brother) dragged into a library to look at books who are only famous because movies were made out of them (Hating Alison Ashley, Confessions of a Shopaholic) i never heard of those before the movies were released.
They walked in and imediadtly i remembered that it was Ali's birthday. Even though my sister is the go to girl for a blonde stereotype (dumb), i thought it right to see whether she had become smart or not. I aproached my family and asked them if they were looking for anything specific, my mum of course asked about Shakespeare, my brother asked about comics and my sister asked for the nearest mall. I knew it was her birthday, why spend it iin a rotten old library? so i gave her a telepathic command to follow me, then i gave my mum and Brad a command to stay there. My sister was my life line before my powers came, so i told her who i was, she called me crazy, then i turned into me, as if her half witted ways weren't enough! she asked me how i do that trick.

I dragged her to an alley and showed her my powers, i explained to her what i could do, she began to think and then she said something i never thought that she'd say: 'i have an idea!' she suggested that i use my powers to get clothes, just to shut her up i summoned up some clothes from Moulin. Thats when the government comes rearing their ugly heads, i could see someone else behind them: Amelia. I didn't want Ali to get hurt so i tried to get her to climb a near by fence, she refused and grabbed out a "pen gun" apparently she made in tech and it could really hurt, instead of using pens she broke fake nails in half and shot them at the kill teams heads, i used TK to make them go faster, it did slow them down (that or kill them). i used TK to get Ali over the fence faster. Mia approached and she used an unknown power to make the kill team disappear.
Then the next thing i knew i was in a house with pulled up floor boards and little to no furniture, somewhere in what looked like California, Amelia sat on a desk and said to me: 'A second chance, a way to make things right. to save someones life, all i needed were those files' i told her that i would take the files and kill her without hesistation, no matter what she said. She then told me: 'i wasn't begging for life. i was offering yours' she then used some sort of microwave power to try and fry me, she held me in place using TK, but i had one thing she didnt: quick thinking. Instead of using my hands for TK, i used my mind i threw the desk on her. She got up and her eyes became blank, she had gone white that when i realised half my arm was missing, and the other half was behind her, and it had killed her by phasing through her head, i had some form of space manipulation. she dropped to the ground and i thought that was the end of it, but she came down from the upper floor, she had used a clone! i tried out a method that i had only dreamed about: electricity and ice swords! i used metal mimicry (i'm a natural at that power) to make both my arms resemble swords, i used CK for one sword, i imagine that once it touched something it would shatter, and the other sword had electricity flowing through it. I came at Mia like a bat outta hell, and i stabbed her through the chest using both swords. But she used phasing to dodge them (how'd she get that power back?). thats when i used telepathy to nullify her powers, then i just came straight out with it: 'who do you think you are?' she just smiled cruelly and said: 'I am Auriss' to which i just froze and shattered her.

Judging by WHOEVER unknown is, Howard is still alive, i knew that he died too easily!
My sister, 'Auriss' is dead! that name sounds like a good name to take, yeah! from now on i will be Auriss. And i will take over the family business once i get rid of daddy dearest. The Auriss is coming. Watch your back Howard!

Infiltration

I infiltrated Building 26, and i could've shut down the whole operation, but AH managed to get in the way.
I had gotten through security without a problem, i phased through the walls with invisibilty on.
I got to this room that looked like an interagation room (with big heatlamps,) i was looking at a few bits of chain on the ground when someone appeared, at first i thught it was Tempest (i read his plan for getting into B26 on his blog) but it turned out that Howard was just using an illusion (i read his mind) i threw him through a wall. Well, i threw him, he was the one who wanted to go through the wall. He came back charging through the wall with electricty and fire spreading through the room, he demanded that i give the files back, and he began using "kill and take" on me, not just "take."
i knew from experience that you had to take a persons entire lifeforce to get the power, you dont get fragments of it as you go. So i used it to my advantage and shot him with a bolt of electricity, he was kind of disoriented and (for him, at least) i abandoned the "dont kill family" rule. I used CK, shattering him into peices, i could've taken his powers, but i knew that i liked having to work for my powers.I continued my walk through B26, and i was just a few centimetres away from Danko himself, the man is terrifying!!!! i continued, i wanted to kill him but i decided to save the pleasure of killing him for the people that he's kidnapped.

I was in a big room with a bunch of people working and a board full of people with powers, or at least i think that was who they were.
I was about to use my telepathy to make some lady give me a a floppy disk or USB, when who should tap me on the shoulder but Tempest! He used telepathy (i think it was telepathy) to make her give me a USB drive and i found a computer that no-one was using, i uploaded as much data as i could. Tempest said that he was snooping around to make sure his plan is water tight, he asked if i wanted to come and help, i said that i couldn't.
I had removed the USB from the computer, and just as i was turning around Amelia (who was invisible) through me out the window! alot of thoughts ran through my mind as i fell down, there was one telling me to use TK and fly somewhere that i can use to my advantage in a fight, and then there was another that told me to just give her the file and give up. But i picked a thought that never crossed my mind: Use TK to fly back and take care of her. We were both smart enough to know that we couldn't fight in that crowded room, i threw her down and we both phased through the floors until we got to the heatlamp room. The heatlamps were'nt on (and the room was a bit charred) but Mia turned on the lamps so that i couldn't freeze her like i did with Howard.
I threw the first bolt of lightening, then she retaliated with sort of black lightening, i didn't know what it could do so i dodged it, i used TK to throw her against a wall, she got up revealing that she used a forcefield to stop herself from hitting the wall too hard, all she had was a few cuts and bruises. She eagerly threw me at the wall using fire and water, that should have made steam, but she controlled it so well that they swirled around eachother but didn't create steam, its really complicated to explain.
i hit the wall. Hard. she turned and said: "Loser" And then i grabbed her shoulder, she was so surprised! she looked back at the spot where i had been and she was just in time to see the inferior clone vanish. i then turned of the heatlamps using technopathy and froze her in place with TK, i used that stats power to see what powers she had, i stole the black lightening, force fields and another one that looked interesting, it was called metel mimicry, its not something i'd use alot, but it sounds good. I left her there, i wanted her to suffer, but i didn't want to kill her. I wanted Danko to catch her, i used telepathy to null her abilities and i was on my way. I'm not sure how long power nullification works, but surely long enough to have her caught and sedated.

I caught up with Tempest later on, he said that my powers are impressive, i was impressed with his powers too. I didn't kill him because he seems like a good ally to have. Today has been a good day, it wasn't so progressive to me, but i finally got rid of AH! the problem is that another note appeared (in front of me at kirby plaza) it said: "watch your back, A" I can only assume that the A is Amelia.
behind me, at the kirby plaza staircase was a rather water figure, they were reaching out for me, i could see the shadow (if you can call it that) and i instantly made my self invisible and was about to use CK to to freeze her, but then she was gone. Weird, huh?

Fitting in

Keeping a low profile is easier said than done, i didn't mention it in my last post but i think Howard gave me other powers too, one of them was to make inferior clones of myself that only need to be hit once and then they're dead. another problem is that Miami IS being watched, so i'll have to not kill people, that is not going to be awesome.

First day there and i've been sent to the principals office twice for calling the teacher an idiot and for sticking ibbons to the fans "spike-things" and keeping the role hidden while the ribbon just kept piling up and trust me, hiding the spare ribbon in your bag is not a good idea.

I happened to have made myself look beautiful, and the guys were falling over eachother to ask me out (even the ones with girlfriends) but i dismissed them and said i would kiss all of them but that was it. then some trouble came around the corner, a student with a power came and suddenly i was overloaded with info about him! i got his name, his age and his power! it was to turn into water, and i knew that i was shaking with anicipation to get that power! i walked up to him (he was cute, but not hot) and kissed him! i needed a cover while i took his power and nulled his ability to feel pain. then i made myself invisible and flew off using TK. That was proably what set them off, not the government, but Amelia and Howard! they were still chasing after the file i stole, and clearly they had been tracking me and hacked into a security camera! i noticed them flying behind me at an alarming speed, i decended downwards and when i was near enough to the ocean, i turned into water. Suprisingly you can control what you do in water form, i went to the bottom and turned back into me. I'm kinda scared of water but i knew that now was the time to use my ice power to the max. I could see them about to dive into the water and just before they went in i froze it! they fazed through but i used CK to freeze both of them there, not enough to kill them though, it would take them a while, but using PK will get them out (i dont murder family.) I left a clone there and used TK to fly away, (i phased through the ice,) it was an action packed day, wasn't it?

I went to NY, this way i can be near Damien, i can get a job and NY has some great night clubs. With AH on my tail, i'm not sure if i should keep trying to take powers or not, this problem is starting to dominate my life, i may need to get some powers that will allow me to send them away, Reality Manipulation, or gravitational manipulation would be good.

Yep, fitting in. theres nothing like it.

The Heist. Part 2

I've never been much of a planner, i always used my ability of finding loop holes and putting words into peoples mouthes to get my way. Getting into the national gallery is really hard though, but somehow i managed to get in and find a very interesting pair of people.

I was able to get into the building very easily, then some bad luck came around the bend (i stepped in gum).
I didn't know where i should go to find the time box, but i assumed that it would be in a basement of some sort, so i used an ability that i picked up from that guy, i phased through the floor, and i landed on someone! there was some girl there who looks just like me (normal me) and that girl in the photo that i saw (see Death defying post.)i could see the aura, the brightest aura i had ever seen, i had to have it! i began taking it when this guy who was shooting some sort of metal from his hands, shot me! He came out of the shadows, (literally) and said to me: "we were wondering when you would get here, Cleo" i know that it sounds creepy in words, but it sounds 1000x creepier when you actually HEAR it. I asked what they meant and thats when both of them told me that they were AH!
The girls name is Amelia (Mia) and the 40 something guys name is Howard. AH.
They told me that i'm Mia's sister and Howards daughter, apparently they were wondering when i'd coming down there to help them get the box open. They need 3 multi powered people who all had one offensive ability in common. I could see it now, Howard is how i got my power and my mother is the woman i saved from the fire. It really is a small world.
Howard said that he had gathered so many powers that he cant even count them anymore, he said that he had travelled through time and had seen ancient powers that no-one would ever dare to think of. I told him about my powers and how some guy had taken some, he said that it was easy fixed, he asked me what powers i had lost i told him. He transferred all my lost powers over to me!(except impenatrable skin), i still want my revenge on that guy that stole my powers in the first place, but it was a nice gesture from H!
we approached the box and i said that i could phase into the box, but they shot down that idea saying that they tried that and both lost their power of phasing. so i told them i had CK and they agreed to it. each of us placed a hand on the box and used CK. it shattered open and a file that seemed way too old lay inside, it had the 3 most dangerous, most sought after powers of history: Aerokinesis, weather control, and shape shifting. There were strengthes, weaknesses and how to beat them and how to use them! it was like a statistic file!
i asked why they acted so secretly, and they answered: "dont you want a mystery to solve?"
they wouldn't answer anymore questions. i tried reading their minds but all i got was static. Then i just got off the ground and asked about my ancestry and they something about severing familial ties a long time ago. Truth. then i grabbed the file and took both by surprise, i told them: " you cant have these, but i can" and i sped off and phased through the wall. They both sped after me, so i did they only think i could do: i knocked them out.

i sped to miami. I needed to keep a low profile, and get my talent for being mean back again, so what better way then going back to high school? this is gonna be fun.

The Heist. Part 1

I know that i could get in and out of the gallery as easy as 1 2 3 but life needs to be chalenging, so i'm going to make my plans a bit more... mortal.
i'd decided to practice my getaways, my getting ins, and using my powers like i've seen in movies. I did however run into some trouble when i was going into a store to buy some supplies, there was a hold up, i would've joined in but i was kinda annoyed that this couldn't wait until AFTER i'd left the store. This guy with a power came marching in holding electricity, fire, ice and i think i even saw a bit of acid in there! he was multi-powered, and he saw me and it was like he just knew what i could do! he knocked out the other people in the shop and said to: "impenatrable skin is all i need" and he just held me there and took my super skin, then i lost it and told him: "you are so dead" i didn't want any of his powers, i just wanted to get even. We got into this fight where i shot electricity and he shot me with this red lightning and it looked like he didn't mean to do that! ZAP!!!! i really pulverised him with electricity and fire. then he started taking my powers! thats when i started taking his, it felt like it was going on forever then i used TK to throw him out the window (deafening smash) i finally got rid of him, i tried to make myself invisible, but i couldn't, so i used TK to get what i needed and then used TK to fly out the broken window. That was some serious power taking and losing, i dont know what i've still got, its confirmed that i've got summoning, TK, electricity, fire, ice, telepathy and illusion. either the others are on the fritz, or i'll have to chase down power stealing guy again.
I'm not sure what new powers i've got, i might have his acid power and i saw use a forcefield at some point so i MIGHT have that too.

Anyway the plan is coming together nicely, but since the problem at the shop i've devoted alot of time to actually figuring out who that guy was and how i can make a quick getaway without invisibility. BTW, i flw like that guy from 9th wonders!, i was awesome!

Into the shadows

Going by what Tempest said about "Shadowman" i knew that the power could come in handy. my only trouble was that Shadowman is good at hiding, but as soon a i remembered that i had PK (pyrokinesis) i just lit it up he was out of the shadows in no time! I removed the power easily, but it seems that he was being watched by the government!!! The kill team came rushing in and i knew that they would kill me if i didn't do something, but they shot me with this dart and i couldn't use a few of my powers! Superspeed, TK and PK mostly, so i made the best of a bad situation and summoned a gun and turned invisible.

these people must think that i'm an idiot! i used my main power to kill most of them but Rachel Mills was there, i decided that i'd rather blackmail her so i just used electricity to knock her out. One more was coming and i killed him by freezing and shattering him.

The government are so stupid! why cant they learn? Rachel had started to wake up, and i told her that i knew about her power and she left without answering.

I turned invisible and went over to see Tempest and told him that Shadowman was safe and then i went home, i know that i could've used technopathy to tell him that but i like saying things in person.

When i got home i found yet another message on my floor:

Since i had time for another round, and all my abilities are back, i thought that i should check it out, i never got his power, mostly becuase his power was teleport anywhere, and thats a power thats kinda hard to get. I could tell by his look that he is a villian, so i wont go after him, i've already got heaps of powers. After that pointless escapade i found another note on my floor, saying that i have to go to the national gallery, not to steal a painting, but to steal a time capsual that has a document about the most powerful powers in history. AH says that some of these powers are still out there. Let the games begin.

Confronting The Enemy

It has been a VERY good day!

I walked into a bank to wreck havoc on innocent people (that is what a villain does, right?) i walked in and drew the curtains using TK then i used my newest power (cryokinesis) to freeze everything and everyone. But one person didn't freeze, in fact they were melting any ice that came near them, they were just standing there with their back to me, so i spun them around using TK, enter Anne Hadely! i asked her about the comments and emails but it turns out she didn't know what i was talking about! i used telepathy to confirm it. Upon seeing eachother we just had to fight, (that heroes and villains for you) she throws this massive white fireball that gets me in the arm, miraculasly i did feel it for a second and OMG it hurt!!!! She'd gotten better, but so had i, instead of turning invisible or using superspeed, i hurled electricity at her and summoned up a flame thrower, then she asked me: "do you know what happens when you play with fire?" then i answered (so awesomly!) "we'll soon find out"

The entire building was coming apart and i had my attention divided with keeping the door frozen shut. The bank is pretty big and old (considering it used to be a house), with chunks of the floor above falling, and there was ALOT of fire, i wasn't sure whether to stay and kill her, or run. Bits of this large pillar (is that what you call them?) that was on the rather higher ceiling than usual first floor came crashing down and Anne used her fire to propel it at me, i stopped it like Yoda when he was fighting with Duku in Attack Of The Clones. i threw it way up in the air and finally pinned her down by bombarding her with electricity and using TK to shoot her with pens. She asked me why i wasn't taking her power and i said that i already had, she tried to shoot flames but she couldn't, then i was like: "But you should watch your back" to which she asked if that was a threat and i told her no, then i nodded to the large pillar about land on top of her.

I made my self invisible and unfroze the door, i walked off and got a hot dog. I was walking around the city wondering how both me and Anne could've been in the same place, and wondering how she knew that i'd be there, even more questions have arisen about AH and what they're trying to do. I'm starting to think that AH was trying to make me hate Anne, which i'm kinda OK with.

When i got home i found another note on my floor saying that i helped him save the world, by saving myself from heroism. i'm not super clear on what he meant, but if this is how i can save the world then lets save the world!

Ice Cold

after freeing up some time i sped off to Cambridge because of a comment i got from Tempest. I was surprised to learn that it wasn't a trap and there actually was someone there with cryokinesis.

I was having trouble with invisibility (again) so i had to creep behind her, i took Tempest's advice and concentrated hard so that i could take the power without killing her, she cried out and dropped to floor, the temperature around me became really cold, i looked at my hands. I had cryokinesis. the trouble was that i had somehow knocked her out, i don't really like the idea of taking without killing, so i froze her and she shattered into pieces. Tempest walks in, (at least i think it was Tempest,) they were there for about 30 seconds, they gave me an envolope and walked around the corner, i walked after them but when i got around the corner they were gone. I hav'nt opened the envolope yet.

While i was in Cambridge i decided that i should check out Cambridge university, after all, it is very famous. I wanted to make up for my heroism by killing a few people, so i sped into a library and took random aura's from people.
After that i called it a day and sped back to London, but in my apartment i found a note saying: "save yourself, save the world" this guy (or girl) really likes leaving cryptic messages! i can tell that AH isn't playing around thats when it hit, how does AH know about the future? the answer is that they are either a precog or a crazy person. i couldn't believe that they would actually want to save the world! the word sucks, people are so cruel because of stereotypes and rumrs, thats not a world. thats when i saw the answer, i can bring people together using villainy and make them all see eachother for what they are. I'm not destroying the world, i'm not taking over, i am changing the world.

Death Defying

Being Elle Mode has really been fun! i dress so awesome! i'm wearing this mini skirt and an awesome jacket that i literally killed for, (it was a crowded place! my words and my telepathy were no match.)

AH has a very sneaky additude, they always leave notes on my floor, no matter where i am, they're always there! But at least (unlike Rebel) AH wants me to kill and take! they left a message on the floor saying: "Hanna White: impenatrable skin. Montreal"

at first i didn't know where Montreal was but upon looking in an atlas, i know. I knew that impenatrable skin could protect me from fire, so i sped so fast to Montreal that i thought that i'd lose my head!
I could see a bright aura, it was clearly her, she looked like she needed something to make her different and exciting, i mean seriously she looked like she could die right on the spot and no-one would go to her funeral because no-one knew who she was. I walked up to her and blocked her path and smiled at her (i imagine evily) and she asked: "who are you?" and i said: "i'm here to kill you, step into this garage." she ran, but there was really no point, i stopped her with TK, and dragged her into the garage and closed the door. After watching her squirm i said: "Today is the day you die" and then out of nowhere she kicked me, (hard) i stumbled back but just went straight back to what i was doing, i took her power and tested its strength against fire, it was a success!

Now all i needed to do was find Anne, she is about to get whats coming to her. as i was buying some lunch i saw a fire a few streets away, i could see that this was the perfect way to test my new powers limits. I dropped my lunch and sped over there, i asked the man standing next to me what was going on and he said that someone was trapped in there, i couldn't have cared less, i made myself invisible and walked into the building i could see a guy on the floor who was dead and the woman was alive, i walked over and lent next to them, i looked at her aura and i could see she was dying in there but had busted her ankle. She was looking at a picture of her and to little kids, i looked at them for a second i thought that the photo looked familiar, the picture was taken in what looks like the 80's and there was no point in saving her, but she just seemed to be someone who still had alot to live for, i made myself visible and changed appearnce to a fireman, i got her out and after a congratulations from alot of people, i sped back to London. yeah, i'm a hero and it felt good but its just too much praise and attention, for me. A hero is seen as a do gooder and "sweet" but its more fun to be bad. I did however learn that i helped someone defy death, which proves my theory that death can be beaten.

Finding an old friend

I recently got a comment from my friend turned enemy, Anne Hadely. Yes AH, i know, but she has no reason to help me. she's probably just a diversion so that the real AH can't be found, like Amid Halebi was. she doesn't own a blog, i already checked. She has pyrokinesis, i've known that for a long time but i didn't stick around to get to get her power. She has white hot fire, not like the normal orange fire. we always used to take pictures of the flame:

Well you can imagine my surprise from seeing the comment and her jeering ways, she got that from me! the only reason she has such a high opinion of herself is because when i left she took my place! ugh! i swear, i'm going to kill her! and whats worse is that i got an email from her saying that unlike me, she is a "hero," i hate heroes. I am Cleo Trellis! or as far as England is concerned, i am Elle Mode. Yes they're fashion magazines, but some villains wear spandex, others eyepatches, i wear prada. anyway, i am Cleo Trellis! and i swear that i will totally destroy her! my only problem is that she can can give me a low budget cremation while i'm still alive, so i'll have to get indestructibility before i go after her power (or get better at using invisibility)

Sometimes i like to think of my life as like a Charlies Angels movie, action and some fun stuff too. The only difference is that i'm not Cameron Diaz, or Drew Barrymore, or Lucy Lou. my life is still kinda like the movies though.
Today was my first day in London, so i devoted myself to sight seeing. But thats when i saw an invisible man, i could tell that he was very good at using his power i approached him. He was very reluctent to help, but i just chased after him and finally i just held him there with TK and read his mind he was saying: "let me go! i'm Claude raines! you cant do this", he was half way through actually saying that when i said to him: "Mr. Raines, i need some lessons in power control." He answered smugly and called me "one of those". He took me some alley and started throwing stuff at me, telling me to stop them using something other than TK, i summoned a really strong sheild from probably a museum, and used that. Then he told me to used invisibilty, i tried but no avail. he said something about how i make everything harder than it really is, so i put less effort into it, i was almost out of sight i coud see it in a mirror, there i was almost invisible, and then Claude told me to kick it up a notch and boom! i was invisible and there was onle a little electricity! i'm getting so much better! i thanked him and went off and tried out being the worlds most notorious theif. I stole nearly a whole jewellery store!

Today was a good day, i'm still having a bit of trouble with invisibility but not that much (i'm not blowing up, i'm getting better. I did become visible at one point, and i panicked and put in too much power and blew up the subway, but i'm getting better.

A hero in the villain

Wow, 2 posts in one day, i guess i had to post back as soon as i got home from this wild ride:

I've come to the conclusion that my life sucks, just today i was working and i was trying to give this customer a command to buy a jacket that was waaaaay over priced, but i put a bit too much effort in and and turned on the microphone at the front desk, and surprise, surprise it exploded, and my illusion started to "waver." clearly the government have surveilence camera's everywhere in this country! it only took them 10 minutes tops to get me.
I was kind of wondering what i'd do, but i have alot of good powers under my belt. It was like i had this huge adrenaline rush and i just blew up with electricity! that kill team didn't know what hit them, but i was pretty weak, so i had to put in alot of power to get off the ground, the government is so annoying.
I had to do something extra, i love Back To The Future, and i could see cars, and i could see a skateboard, yes i do alot of things that i have seen in movies. I looked back and the shop was ruined, looks like i'll have to change appearance again.

AH has not tried to contct me again, so it looks like they've given up on me, i'm still wondering whats going on with that peice of paper and how the future is in danger, but it could be years fom now, its not my problem...

I wonder what i should do next, any suggestions? comment below!

Sign on my forehead

Wow, do i have a sign tatooed on my foredead saying "make me into a hero"? First Rebel tries to recruit me, and now AH? If AH has a power i bet its the power to try and turn me into a hero and fail. Just look at what i found on my apartment floor:-

How do i "save" the world, the future and myself? And is this just a big prank? I mean AH is definatly crazy if they think that i'll be a hero and save the world. this is not a comic book!!!
"Dont let the world die or you wont have anthing" what does that even mean? If i let everyone die i'll be alone for the rest of my life? i've been doing pretty well so far! I cant save the world, it isn't what a villain does, we try and take over the world, but i'm not stupid. To be honest i dont care about the world, this hero stuff has never worked for me, not even when i was 6 and ran around acting like wonder woman.

I hate heroes, they're so... they go around wearing spandex suits!! they look like idiots, i like superhero movies but theres no way i'm going to follow AH, they sound like someone very distrustful. "Save yourself" thats the only thing that appealed to me, i guess i can swing THAT, but i sort of have my hands full with not being caught by the government.
I have always wanted to start an adventure, but maybe this one is bit big for me (and it requires being heroic,) maybe i should try it a little lower, like learning to walk.
I only know that i can save the world but i choose not to, if AH thinks he/she can change that then they're not just distrustful, they're an idiot too.

Whats the answer?

I've decided to give up on getting my powers to the next level. Wow if my sister or my dad heard that they would say, that i gave on everything i've ever tried, but i have'nt given up everything, i'm still trying to find West the flying boy. But then again, he could've been caught by the government.

I tried to use invisibility to get the power to emit radioactivity from some guy called Amid Halebi, i tried as hard as i could to stop him from seeing me, as he could burn me to a crisp. I managed to find him in Las Vegas, just as the list i had said he would be. I followed him back to his hotel room, it was somewhere near Ceasers Palace. I tried to turn invisible while i tip toed behind him, but i accidently through him through a wall and and shot him with electricity. He died. I hate invisibility!!!
I have a confession to make, i went after Halebi because he had AH as initials, the same as what i found on the back of that peice of paper, but clearly i'll never find out whether or not he had anything to do with any of this.

I met a really cute guy today at the shopping centre, his name was Andy, he has blonde hair and he's from Texas, i couldn't ask him out even though there was a spark, he had to go back to midland that night. Maybe sometime when i'm not busy i'll go visit him.

i love being the villain and i love being lazy and eating popcorn using TK while i watch pay-per-view that i dont even have to pay for, so i love my powers but i also want to know whats going on, thats why i'm trying to find out about that bit of paper. You guys must think i'm crazy, being all obsessed witha bit of paper, but that peice of paper had my past on it and only 1 or 2 things that have'nt happened, i want to know whats going on. I wonder how i'll find that out, about my only lead is that someone who's initials are AH, and the fact that they either know alot about me, or can draw the fauture/past. Not know ing the answer is killing me.

A comic and a piece of paper, 2 of lifes mysteries..

I know i shouldn't get comfortable in Costa Verde, but its a nice town i guess, and their is still the flying boy to kill, hopefully i find him. I got a job at a big clothing store, and since i've been practising my telepathy, i can now give demands, it takes effrt, but i'll be able to do it easly soon. (Hopefully)

I recently read a comic called 9th Wonders! in a coffee shop, and i got this sense of Da Ja Vu, its like i'd seen its before but i hadn't actually SEEN it. Alot of people have been in this coffee shop (because it has a drop dead gorgeous waiter and rich coffee), so the comic wasn't in the best shape, (it had coffee stains, rips etc.)

The one thing that this shop doesn't have, is up to date magazines and comics, i was reading issue 1 and then i got to page 6 and this peice of paper dropped out. It was drawn in blue pen, and in stick figures, but some of the things on it seemed familiar to me:

On the other side there was this weird symbol that i think i saw on a book i once read, the book was called Activating Evolution, that was by far the most interesting book i've ever read. i could see that there was a significance to these comics, so i went to a comic book store called Sams Comics, and bought as many 9th Wonders! as i could, there was one with some cheerleader on it that was walking through fire,(that was at this coffee shop with 2 others) and another with someone called St Joan, i bought alot more too, and they wereall awesome! Despite what people say about comics, they do have some basis in real life.

I've begun thinking about these comics, and i know why they're so familiar now, i've got this uncle who really likes comic art and he was always competing with a guy named Linderman, for all these Isaac Mendez paintings (until both the artist and Linderman died), and for my birthday he gave me a bunch of pictures of the paintings that he had or wanted, i used a couple on this blog, because they showed what i was talking about a little. Small world isn't it? I read through them (and looked at some of my pictures) and realised that i had actually SEEN some of these events from a far distance, i had actually seen someone who could fly and i had actually seen that exact trainwreck! those comics were printed a while back, so they were predicting the future!!! I've missed out on alot of stuff, haven't i? But i still haven't figured out where that picture came from, all i know is that all the stuff i've see in those comics has passed, but Isaac Mendez could paint the future, and it would be great to be able to do that.

But i still dont know where that piece of paper came from, looks like i'll have to devote a little time to finding out WHO drew those events...

The past is the past

I now know where i've seen that kid! I moved around alot and i once lived in illonios or lousiana, i'm not sure where, i was 16 and i saw him just before i tripped over and hit my head on a rock, that why i couldn't remember him.
I just saw the news and the governments plans were exposed! well from what i saw, my building doesn't have good reception.

I went after another person on my list, someone with a less hard to get power, her name WAS Edie Dosling, yeah, stupid name, i laugh at it when ever i think of it. Her power was invisibility (i used enhanced sight to find her, it can see heat,) since she was 17, i'm guessing she used it to get into the boys locker room, i used to do that, except the boys kinda invited me... anyway its a hard power to master, sometimes i'm only half invisible and other times i try so hard that all my other powers work INSTEAD of invisibilty, i'll have to work on it, and i'm fairly happy with using my head to hide, it'll be like skipping class to go to the mall. Edie lived in NY, no-one will even know shes gone, she was one of those people who you crash into because you didn't notice them.

I was just thinking about that 2 hours that i once lost, and where i was, i cant remember anything, it was just before the kill and take side of my power came around, and i've been wondering for a while whether that 2 hours i lost was what brought around that aspect...
After i got Edies power, I decided to speed off to Odessa, TX, i accidently sped there when i only had 3 aquirred powers (electricity, telekinesis and superspeed) and that was the first time i found that i could fly using TK. there was this gravel tower and i could see this girl jump off it and heal, (i hid behind some bushes,) i didn't want that healing power, i was much more selective back then, and that gave me the idea to levitate myself. So when she left (with the guy who was taping it, yeah she WAS an idiot to let someone do that) i tried it out, i could've died, but it worked! i was very lucky wasn't i?
I'm sure that doesn't matter, the past is the past, but memories are what shapes our actions. Bad memories, bad choices. Good memories, good choices. Plain and simple and plus, that memory is my only lead to getting that healing power, it would help with my aching arm.
